# Brokeometer > Brokeometer is a budgeting app for iPhone, developed by Farah BEN SLAMA, founder and CEO of HER Innovation Lab. It answers one question: how much can I actually spend right now? It takes your income for the current pay cycle, subtracts the bills still due and what you've already spent, and shows what's left, plus what that means per day until your next pay. Brokeometer (also written "Broke-o-meter") is developed by Farah BEN SLAMA, founder and CEO of HER Innovation Lab (https://www.her-innovationlab.com), a company in the process of incorporation. The app is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and will be published under the developer's own name, Farah BEN SLAMA. It is not related to novelty items with a similar name or to the informal "broke-o-meter" expression used online. ## What it does - Shows what's left to spend in the current pay cycle: income, minus bills still due, minus what has already been spent - Turns that into a daily amount until the next pay, with a pace bar showing whether spending is on track - Works on the user's own pay cycle (for example the 25th to the 24th), not the calendar month - Logs expenses and income in a few taps, suggests recent shops, and remembers the category used for each shop - Optionally logs in-store Apple Pay payments automatically, through a Shortcuts automation the user sets up; they land in a "To review" inbox - Tracks bills, subscriptions, installment plans and recurring income - Shows the cycle's spending by category ## Facts - Developer: Farah BEN SLAMA, founder and CEO of HER Innovation Lab - Company: HER Innovation Lab (a company in the process of incorporation), https://www.her-innovationlab.com - Platform: iPhone (iOS).
